Join me for a two hour cider tasting workshop. We will touch on the basics of cider making and apple varietals, and will delve more deeply into the elements of cider tasting and cider styles. The workshop will include tastings of six different ciders, including New World, English, French and specialty ciders. RSVP online here.

You might enjoy this workshop if:
- you are a BJCP judge and are interested in pursuing the new cider certification (if there is enough interest, I will schedule and administer a cider exam)
- you are a brewer and want to learn more about the elements of cider appreciation and tasting
- you are a craft beer or wine aficionado and want to expand your palate to include cider
- you are a Cicerone or brewing industry professional and want to expand your knowledge (and language) of cider
I'm holding the workshop in two locations - in the Fulton Market District at Great Central Brewing and in Hyde Park at Augustana Lutheran Church. These will be the same workshop - you are welcome to attend either.
The workshop fee is $30/person. The workshop is a fundraiser, net proceeds (after the cost of the ciders ) will support music programs at Augustana.
RSVPs are required and you can do so online here. If you have any questions, send me an email at jim@singingboysbrewing.com
